It's says Monday but it's really a Tuesday post

I thought I had better post before it's "friday again". I've been working on some tote bags and the "new" project. I'm making one of the quilts from Judy's book with the fabric from a pig. Since I never do anything the easy way.....I've been trimming lots and lots of half and quarter square triangles blocks. It always seems like a good idea to make them a bit oversized until I have to square them all up.

I went to Joann's to buy some embroidery floss and got these (at half price) to helpfully get more organized. I sometimes really do think it's hopeless....I'm such a clutterbug. But I plod on hoping for that elusive magic container that's going to bring it all together for me.

I got the Hometown Christmas kit so I'll be joining in on the fun. Kim is organizing it and so far Vicky, Sharon and Kristie, who is a brand new blogger, have joined the party. Hopefully there will be "no regrets" on my part....if you know what I mean. :)

When you find 'the' container that will organize it all please, please tell me about it - I've searched and searched for it. LOL

I can't wait to see your project!

And, you're going to join the Hometown Christmas group. I'll be here cheering you on. :-)

I've added you to the list on my blog! So happy you're joining us in this project--I'm sure you won't be disappointed, and aren't there some cute extra patterns and recipes in those books? Love them!

Love the quilt you're working on - what a great pattern! I am not doing the Hometown Christmas with the group, but I did promise to be a cheerleader, so you will get a "Rah, Rah, Rah, Sis Boom Ba!!" from time to time during the project. lol!!
I really like those containers, too - great colors! If that doesn't get you organized, nuthin' will!!

I like the fabrics you're using for the new quilt - I'll be watching it develop.

I was thinking today I needed some new bins for my strings but I don't know what kind I want. These are nice but stackable ones might better suit my space.

I too am also searching for that elusive container. I make a beeline for boxes, cartons, baskets etc in every shop I go into. I couldprobably open my own shop with them - lol !
Looking forward to seeing your Hometown Christmas kit done. I have not heard of this before. Sounds interesting !

I wish you well on the organizing. I have been tackling that challenge for many years to no avail.

You have some fantastic fabrics for the quilt from Judy's book. Looking forward to watching your progress on it.
