Paying it forward
Since I haven't gotten any takers on the pay it forward, I decided that I would pay it forward to 3 ladies that have inspired me. Judy for her oh so generous nature. Not only in the quilt patterns that she provides for us but she is always willing to answer any kind of quilty questions you might have. Jeanne is always making scrappy quilts to give away to her favorite charities. She shines in her own humble way. I love her projects and her decorating themes. I've been reading and enjoying her blog for quite some time. And last but not least is Mary who started the Heartstrings project. I am always amazed at how much she accomplishes. I'm going to make each of these ladies something with this fabric collection that I've been hoarding for some time. Maybe a bit of lime green thrown in for Judy........

What a nice and generous thing to do :-)
Instead of participate in the blog paying it forward I decided to pay if forward to one not blogging and not expecting anything.
She needed a lift and a smile in her life and was so touched. I know she will find a good way to pay if forward to someone else :-)
What a wonderful gesture, Yvonne!! And the fabrics that you have pulled there are gorgeous!! Those three ladies are very lucky indeed! :D
Yvonne, you have given me the best idea! I also posted the PIF on my blog, and no one took me up on it. I am going to do the SAME thing you are doing! It's a lovely, unselfish thing to do, and exactly the spirit of PIF. You are a very smart lady! Thank you!! I only wish I had thought of it first! LOL!
You are very kind to make something with the fabric you've been saving. I'm sure they will be over joyed to receive such a generous gift. That gives me inspiration to do something similar. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for your kind comments. I have seen the PIF on several sites but haven't really paid much attention as the majority of my quilting time is spent on HeartStrings quilts.
I've always felt that quilters are generous people but I am constantly amazed at how many are willing to make something for others without any thought of self gain.
