cats and pumpkins

Here it is another week has flown by, oh my. I've been stitching my cats and figuring out my method for doing the pumpkin swap....what was I thinking? I wasn't....I had a temporary lapse in brain function. I have not had very good luck in the past with swaps. I do hope this one will be different. I like how my little pumpkin came out....2 down, 34 more to go.

Tomorrow my good friend, Cindy is coming for a sewing day. She's been drooling over this witch wallhanging so I got the stuff for us to do it. I hope it will be a nice surprise for her.

I really want to make a quilt with my scaredy cat fabrics. I was thinking of using this pattern or maybe this one.......what do you think? I love seeing everyone's seasonal decorations and I want some too. :)

Oh my gosh 36 pumpkins, now that's dedication.... I'm not familiar with the scardey cats fabric but I do love the Twist and Turn pattern.

Your pumpkin is so cute, Yvonne! That witch wallhanging is wonderful - what a great surprise for your friend!
I really like the Twist and Turn pattern for the scaredy cat fabrics - it looks very fall-like to me.
Enjoy your sewing day! It sounds like such fun!!

I have that Chocolate Covered Cherries pattern and the fabric. Bought it over a year ago. LOL I loved the quilt when I saw it made. It's a great quilt.

Love the Pumpkin! I really like the twist and turn pattern too. Halloween is just not my thing...My son Kyle says "you don't have the Halloween spirit mom". He is right.

Love your pumpkin - very cute!

The pattern you plan to work on with your friend is adorable - have lots of fun! She'll be very surprised.

Both patterns are great. I have two charm packs of Scaredy Cats and I'm not sure what to do with them. I have a couple of ideas but we'll see.

Like Bren, I'm not really into Halloween! :-)

Both patterns are great! It was hard to decide. I think I'd go with the Twist and Turn, especially if you've got a really neat background fabric to show off!
