stringblocks

These are what I've been working on.....I find them to be very soul soothing. Some of them will become comfort quilts for members of Peg's family. I'd like to thank each and every one of you who have offered prayers, kind words of encouragement or just quietly prayed for us in the background. It has been most appreciated and yes, it helped. I'm looking forward to spring and with it new growth and a renewed appreciation of just how blessed my life is. I hope you have a wonderful weekend....thanks for stopping by.

Your string blocks look great, and what a nice idea to make quilts for your family members! I'm happy to hear you're finding comfort in your quilting. My thoughts are with you and your family.

These string blocks are fun and when my club made these we were all so surprise at how much ALL of our husbands liked them. This was one project that all the men just loved.

Aren't string blocks just the best therapy? Even when I'm not feeling up to working on anything else, I can usually manage some of these.

When you make your string blocks do you make them have a uniform number of strips? Do the strings have various widths? I find mine are really varied.
