It's been awhile

I didn't realize it's been so long since I've posted. We are still battling a nasty case of shingles....we sorely underestimated this beast. I anxiously await the day when I ask him how he's feeling and he says "painfree" !

You would think I would have gotten lots of sewing done but no....that's not the case. I have been working on some totebags and Judy's QFAH. I have caught up on lots of reading.

The good thing is I haven't poked one button, not a one, even though Miss Vicky has been tempting me with her poking abilities. She's has gotten some gorgeous fabrics. :) NO fabric in and when I finish this quilt and the totes, it will be gone from the stash.

In my unending quest for an organized sewing room, I went to the Home Depot this morning to purchase more shelves and whatnots. I'm going down there to organize even though I don't have a clue where to begin. :( If there is a flat surface available, I can fill it faster than you can turn around. Yes, it's true....I'm a slob! I'm not so brave as to show any before pictures. Any hints, tips, moral support....all is welcome.

I need to reorganize - I'm going to put the newest stuff that I'm excited about out on the shelves, and tub up the other stuff where I can still get to it if I need it. One of these days I'm going to do that! LOL

You're plugging away at busting, and that's a good thing! :)

Stick with it and that reorganizing will pay off in no time. Sure hope the shingles move on soon . . . they can really be a bear to deal with.

I'm so sorry to hear that Tim is still dealing with those nasty shingles. They are excrutiating!

Got it done yet? It's been a couple days! ROFLOL! I think the best way to do it is to just START. And just think of the things you might discover! At least you've been very, very GOOD about not getting more fabric, unlike SOME people we know who will soon develop some crippling button-poking orthopedic injury! LMAO!

You'll get it done. Little by little. Sorry about your man having the shingles....I had a run in with them last November and the pain is horrible. I will think good shingle free thoughts for him!
